Teaching Objective of the Course:

The teaching course of this course is mainly to cultivate students' listening skills and raise the listening comprehension level of students. On the basis of understanding the basic language units(such as pronunciations, alphabet, number, word, sentence, etc.), this course gradually enhances the comprehension capacity and familiarity, and aims at improving students' capacity of the analysis, conclusion, integration and reasoning of listening materials.

This course is given by the combination of face to face teaching at the normal classes and the self-study by new media to realize the combination of extracurricular self-study of students with the instruction of teachers, and the combination of self-study and cooperative learning. And this course aims at comprehensively enhancing students' capacity of listening and self-expression to enable them to communicate frequently in future life, working and entering higher schools while enhancing the self-study capacity, and improving the cross-cultural awareness to meet the needs of our economy and international exchange.
