The course can be taught through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on exercises. Student feedback gathered while teaching several semesters of a similar course indicates that students relate much more to, and learn much more from, demonstration and hands-on exercises. The hands-on exercises enable students to “see” how theory and concepts can be translated into practical application. For these reasons, one should strongly consider a hands-on approach to this course.
