Course Description:

Intermediate Financial Accounting I is the first course in a two-course sequence that familiarizes students with the IFRS financial reporting rules. It is an extension of the accounting principles course and will cover many same topics that was introduced in accounting principles course. This course will include a rigorous study of accounting theory and concepts, emphasizing an intensive exploration of various accounting topics such as conceptual framework, financial statements, accounting for current and non-current assets, accounting for current and non-current liabilities, and accounting for equity.
